- Does the school use a student data management system? If so, who is primarily responsible for maintaining it?
- What is the system's capacity to generate reports?

- What is the school’s role in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information?

- Review policy.
- Review budget for data management.
- Request periodic updates on the data management system from the superintendent.
- Report to the community student assessment results as required under Act 68.

- Meet with administration team to clarify and prioritize the data management system.
- Determine the data management capabilities of the system.
- Prepare student assessment data reports for the board(s) and community.

- Meet with the technology coordinator and/or superintendent for the school or district, and inquire about the system being used.
- Communicate what other information would be helpful to collect to the superintendent.
- Meet with teachers to determine ease of access, ease of input, and usefulness of the system.
- Determine the system for internal oversight of the data.
