Eleven VSBA Regions
The VSBA is organized into eleven geographical regions in order to foster communication, collaboration, and opportunities for board members to interact with colleagues from neighboring communities.

Regional representatives are VSBA Board Members and are elected to two-year terms at the regional meeting preceding the annual meeting. Terms of office begin at the conclusion of the annual meeting. The regional reps play an important role in promoting two-way communication between the VSBA Board of Directors and its members, ensuring that VSBA members are informed, involved, and engaged as fully as possible in the association’s programs and services.
Each region has two regional representatives who are responsible for promoting the interests of the association within their region as members of the board of directors. They also have the responsibility for holding at least one regional meeting each year.

Regional Activities
The VSBA can support activities in each region via annual stipends. Regional reps may convene for meetings, informal gatherings, networking sessions, learning opportunities, or other activities. Regions may also choose to host a legislative breakfast/gathering, which brings together board members and members of the Vermont General Assembly to talk about critical issues in state education policy and funding.
